As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our production systems. Your tasks include:

  • Preventive Maintenance: You regularly perform preventive maintenance on production systems, Cobots, and other automated equipment. This helps prevent unexpected breakdowns and keeps the equipment in top condition.
  • Troubleshooting: You work closely with the Operations Engineering team to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing the impact of malfunctions on production.
  • Installation and Configuration: You assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment and software updates to ensure all systems are up-to-date and operate efficiently.
  • Inventory Management and Repairs: You oversee the inventory of spare parts and ensure critical components are always available to minimize downtime. Additionally, you carry out repairs on faulty equipment.
  • Implementing Improvements: You actively contribute ideas to improve equipment reliability and increase the efficiency of operational processes.

The direct team consists of approximately 20 employees, both full-time staff and temporary workers at our client. The working languages are English and Dutch. The team is mainly composed of production staff, administrative employees, and team leaders, and is diverse in age, gender, and nationality.

Education:
  • A minimum of a vocational degree (MBO) or higher in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or robotics certifications, are a plus.

Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of computer systems and robotics equipment, preferably in a fulfillment or production environment;
  • Experience working with remote teams to resolve technical issues related to production systems;
  • Experience with technical solutions in information security is a plus;
  • Experience with Incident and Problem Management is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with automated material handling systems, tools, and conveyor systems;
  • Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and troubleshooting network issues;
  • Experience in setting up computers, installing software upgrades, and drivers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications in robotics, automation, or IT are a plus;
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities;
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.

Physical Requirements:
  • You will work in a fast-paced fulfillment center environment, sometimes in confined spaces or fluctuating temperatures;
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
